SAGA began around family. In Sweden, one of the simplest joys is the tradition of pick and mix - choosing your own favourite bites, filling paper bags with a little of everything, and sharing the experience with the people around you. It is playful, personal and deeply social, turning even the smallest snack into something memorable.

Growing up together in Stockholm, some of our strongest memories were simple. The warmth of cinnamon and chocolate in the air. Music humming softly in the background. Candles flickering against winter windows. The feeling of staying a bit longer.

For us, it was never only about what was on the table. It was about the feeling around it. Tiny hands reaching for one more piece. The sound of laughter echoing through the kitchen. Glasses clinking. Someone starting another story while everyone leans in closer. The kind of moments that settle quietly into your heart and stay there for years.

Years later, after travel, careers, children and busy lives, we found ourselves longing for that feeling again. Not simply out of nostalgia, but because in a world that moves so quickly, gathering together matters more than ever.
